Dear Professor's,

Greetings

I am looking for Abeta 25-35 fibrils to be induced in rat brain to mimic AD.

As per the product catalog from Sigma (A4559) Amyloid beta 25-35 - its solubility has given as 1% acetic acid. However, the same compound has been dissolved in double distilled water and have incubated at 37 deg Celsius for four days for aggregation and utilized the same for inducing AD in rodents (Zucci et al., 2014).

Now that I wonder, should I dissolve in 1% acetic acid to achieve fullest solubility and then allow for aggregation or should i dissolve in double distilled water (will that prevent solubility, so as to promote aggregation?) and allow it for incubation so as to aggregate to fibrils.

More confusion arises when the same Amyloid beta 25-35 is been solubilized in DMSO/ NaOH/ NH4OH.

Please guide me in choosing right solvent to create Abeta fibrils.

Thanks
