Thank you. Have anyone use trypsin-EDTA for dissociating chicken embryo liver cells? Or trypsine alone is already enough?

We use Trypsin -EDTA for the liver cells, the slime is normal, they do however inhibet some growth if its is in the same flask as the healthy cells

Yes, I use Trypsin -EDTA for dissociation of the cells and have been largely successful. I think slime is normal but I experience it more during second round of trypsinization. If you can carefully remove the cells in trypsin and avoid the slimes as much as possible.
