I ran my samples in HPLC with a carbohydrate analysis column HPX-87C, with water as mobile phase, flow rate 0.6 ml/s, to determine the content of sucrose, glucose and fructose. However, there is always a very high peak come out before the sucrose at a retention time of 6.15-6.25. The retention time of sucrose is 8.25. I already precipitated the fructans from this sample.

The problem with Aminex columns is that all the large sugars get squeezed together towards the front. You may have been seeing fructans but it is just as likely that you were seeing raffinose or stachyose. These Galn->Glc->Sucrose polymers are found in grains. You might even see verbascose (Gal3-Glc-Sucrose). the resolution of carbohydrate polymers is much better by HPAE-PAD. See figures 13, 14 and 15 in http://www.dionex.com/en-us/webdocs/5023-TN20_LPN032857-04.pdf for examples of excellent resolution.
