I am maintaining adult male winter moth in captivity for a brief period and do not seem to be able to find any information on whether or not they feed. I can't even establish whether or not they have mouthparts! If anyone could answer this for me, or at least point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful!

The winter moth (O. brumata) is an invasive insect that damage huge varieties of our trees. This moth is observed in nature in late fall or early winter. Then after they lay eggs and die. The tiny green caterpillars come out in spring eating, growing and doing damage to the plants. They do not feed in their adult stage.
