I have designed the below attached coplanar antenna, I am unable to get the s-parameter at the required resonating frequency, so can anyone tell me how to give the proper feed?
It should be fed with a waveguide port which touches the bottom edge, or even overlaps it a bit. The port should be perpendicular to the antenna plane, and at least several times as high as the slot width, above and below the plane, and the same distance either side of the slots.
It might be necessary to make a rectangular conducting frame around the edge of the port to short the two sides of the ground together and force the right mode to be launched.
The port can be defined using Pick Face option and then defining the waveguide port. Calculate port extension coefficient by running a macro.
