During DNA Extraction Instead of Intact Pellet formation at the base of the eppendorf, Why i am getting shattered pellet and the DNA is stick to the side of the eppendorf tube?
Dear Rahil, if the amount of DNA is low, you can not see a pellet at the bottom of eppendorf tube, however, DNA is present on wall of eppendorf after centrifugation. You can dissolve DNA either steril ultra pure water or 1x TE buffer by pipeting the buffers throughout wall of eppendorf.
You may also have contaminants in your sample still. I sometimes duplicate washes on the column (if that's what you're using) before the increased ethanol concentration wash. If this preparation doesn't use a column, look into that!
