To inhibit egg production from the female nematode so that the nematode population can be reduced in a closed farm field, does anyone have any information?
Hi there, during in vitro experiments with larval stages or nematode eggs you stop egg hatching or larvae development using Lugol’s iodine solution. Few drops per well will be enough to stop the development.
Check the file below for descriptions of few in vitro methods. good luck!
May i know any means to stop sexual reproduction of nematodes in vivo condition when inside an animal to reduce their population...... I tried but cldnt find any articles relatedly........... Have any body tried it so far??? If so can anyone send me the links??? Pls..................
There are plenty of antyhelmintics such as albendazole, mebendazole, pyrantelum etc.. however you will kill the nematodes. I quite can't understand what are you going to do? There are many traditional anthelmintics like papaya latex or papaine.. but still they do kill nematodes.
