I examine the blast analysis. I saw ongoing to occur displacement after the load is finished at some analysis. I'm using Abaqus in my study. I input load time at time period in edit step.
I saw only displacement as load time. İf displacement occur after the load is finished, How can I see?

In any dynamic analysis, you should see displacement after finishing load (called free vibration). To see such free vibration in ABAQUS, it is necessary to set time step more than loading time. Since free vibration is dependent on the natural period of structure, it is better for time step to be greater than two or three times of natural period too see enough vibration after finishing load.

I want to see time point of finished to displacement.
And on the other hand, sometimes a shock on one part of a structure will not cause much strain at a distance away from where the shock was applied.
