I am interested in market research aspects that focus on social differences. How can the opportunities created by ubiquituous digitalization also be made available to disadvantaged target groups?
I think it's a good idea,,,you Marianne Schmolke can also make the research with casuality about it and using experimental method research to finished it,,
This is possible with the implementation of Society 5.0 concept. It is a human-centered society that balances economic advancement with the resolution of social problems by a system that highly integrates cyberspace and physical space. Social reform (innovation) in Society 5.0 will achieve a forward-looking society that breaks down the existing sense of stagnation, a society whose members have mutual respect for each other, transcending the generations, and a society in which each and every person can lead an active and enjoyable life.
Thank you Hermann Gruenwald , Dr-Ariful Islam and I Made Laut Mertha Jaya .
Dr-Ariful Islam and Hermann Gruenwald s answers address the main challenge in proposing two extremes: The issue can - at first sight - only be resolved on a theoretical basis. On the other hand concepts such as Society 5.0 are proposed as feasible regarding an implementation in a certain environment.
The casuality approach by I Made Laut Mertha Jaya could be used to exploratively get closer to a hypothesis which can be validated on a more reliable level.
I'd be interested how often you stumbled across similar questions or a possible implications in this direction in your own research or research you use for further investigation in your field?
Marianne Schmolke I want to add that research with causality that examines causal relationships can give researchers flexibility in judging a novelty to the theory that they want to support or comment on. I am currently being explored this experimental method for my next research..
So, I can't help much, but my professors are more experts in the field of experimentation method ...
you can search for their research it by name.. I Made Narsa
That is right. Still the matthew principle persists: Those who are already on the upside of technological skill development benefit from e.g. MOOCS or costly solutions to become faster and more effective in daily work. This in return leads to higher savings and better job perspectives. What do you think about this observation?
Internet and mobile technologies are changing not only the way we consume but also the way we live. Some recent research work are exploring consumers' hybridity (I'm among those researchers). One of the main facets of hybridity is online/offline hybridity. Consumers are developping a new (different) online identity that rules out sociol and economical differences.
Manel Hakim Masmoudi - thats sounds interesting. Do you consider the learning dimension as well? Do you find evidence similar to Wirth 2004 (Selbstregulation von Lernprozessen) - Self-regulation in learning processes- indicating that e.g. more skilled learners start in an early phase of learning to integrate information into their existing skillset whereas low performance learners tend to extend the phase of identifying information?
In many products and services, IT has contributed to brutally reducing social differences and bringing people together. Just think about the facilities brought by social networks, internet searches, news dissemination or internet banking. The fact that people with more resources have access to more and more products and services is difficult to be solved by IT or by anyone tool.
Interesting and great discussion so far.. Thanks to you all for your views here.. Marianne Schmolke Roberto - Minadeo Manel Hakim Masmoudi I Made Laut Mertha Jaya Dr-Ariful Islam
