Aside downloading ASTER or SRTM DEM, is there anyway I can derive a DEM from a particular study area?
Generally speaking the available data sets change from each countries to other; so, can you specify it please?

Dear you can find many websites provide you with the DEM, but with resolution around 60 and 90m. However, if you want higher you can use GPS points then generate your DEM using arc gis

@Hayder, thanks but i am using 30m of landsat-8 with Erdas and ENVI. I'll try the GPS points on ArcMap as suggested.
