Hi all. Is there any method to separate diffusion controlled double layer capactiance and normal double layer capacitance? Further, is there any way to find how much double layer capacitance is coming from micropores and mesopores? There are two commonly used methods in the literature. The first method (Trasatti method) differentiates b/w double layer and pseudocapacitance, but gives very high value of pseudocapacitance for activated carbons because it does not account for diffusion-controlled double layer capacitance. Second method (Dunn's method) differentiates charge storage through capacitive and diffusion controlled processes. These two methods don't incorporate the separation of different double layer capacitances (from surface and micro/meso pores, diffusion limited) and pseudo capacitances (intercalative, redox). I think devising a method to distinguish these would be very useful. Thanks
