I have noticed there are several different annotations of circular RNAs. For example the same circular RNA from a human species can be written as:

hsa_circRNA_000167

hsa_circ_0000518

The difference is in the name, the length of the number and in the number itself. And I have found even a third version from circRNADb database that contains a number consisting of 5 characters in the end. Again some articles just name the circular RNA with no information on the circular RNA ID.

Since it is hard to compare results and find information from articles that use just one annotation, I would like to find a "converter" between different annotations or a database/file containing all the different annotations of circular RNAs.

Does anyone know any information regarding this issue?

Thank you very much!

Kind regards,
