How supplementing viscous fibres in the diet of adults affects body? Any answer evidence-based will be helpful?
Dear Smitta
Fiber basically changes the body composition by affecting subject's appetite. You can read " A review of the characteristics of dietary fibers relevant to appetite and energy intake outcomes in human intervention trials" by Poutanen KS et al.
Best Regards
Thank you Neda.
You may find this reference useful "Slavin, Joanne. "Fiber and prebiotics: mechanisms and health benefits." Nutrients 5, no. 4 (2013): 1417-1435."
I agree with you Abu sir. The paper of Slavin et al. is indeed a lot helpful. Thank you.
