You can get the similar or apropriate answer by searching the keyword in the GOOGLE SCHOLAR page. Usually you will get the first paper similar to your keyword.
From my experience, this way will help you a lot.
If you still have a problem, do not hasitate to let me know.
Thank you for your reply. I already made that search, but the only relevant papers that I can find are 10+ years old (thus they refer to earlier stages of e-learning), so I was hoping there's something more recent. I'll keep searching.
Dear David, the embedded post is only remotely relevant to your question, but I thought I would share it anyway because it points to how technology is opening up new possibilities for training/e-learning.
Dear David, this sounds like a very interesting field. I did a quick Google Scholar search again, limited the results to publications since 2014 and found the embedded information. I hope you find something of relevance in the list.
Thank you for your effort, Leona. I happened to find a couple of interesting ones I hadn't noticed before. Most are case studies from which little evidence can be drawn, but at least they point in a certain direction. I have a hard time trying to do any decent research in the corporate field, as there's hardly any tradition of rigorous measuring, and it would seem that my difficulties are commonplace.
As for the article about iBeacons, as you say there's no direct link to my question, but it was an interesting reading nevertheless. It's really exciting how e-learning is getting closer to the "real" world, just as it should.
