I am working with bacterial interactions and want to use ddPCR to quantify bacteria. I am finding difficulties in designing the correct primers to capture corynbacterium. Could anyone recommend primers for corynbacterium that actually work. Thanks.

Hi Sanna Nasr I agree with Razieh Sadat Hosseini but be carefull not all primers from articles work well because of lack od details about experiment. But sometimes it could bu due to differences between strains etc. Please try this:

Hi Andrei, yes exactly as you said, we tried primers mentioned in articles but they didn't work, probably due to some missing details. This is why I was hoping someone working with Corynbacterium would be able to suggest a more detailed protocol.
hi Sanna. Unfortunately I do not work with it for a many years (, but my colleague Valentina still work. In our article we have worked with strains that persists in Belarus. Primers and protocol is ok. You may use it to try.
But before we have designed primers... first!!! we have sequenced many samples with Sanger method. It were some regions for each sample. After that we have aligned sequences and choose the most relevant and effective primers and probe.
