Hello Everyone,
I Am currently assessing a collagen-based cryogel, in many references, the correct wy involves the immersion of the gels in PBS or Water and the measure of the weight after different timepoint. The vast majority of the studies mentions the 'removal of excess water from the cryogel by putting them in an absorbant paper' usually KIMTECH.
As I have tried this process, I noticed a vast differences between my measurements depending on how long I leave the gels in the absorbant paper. Do you have any idea how long should I leave them ? I tried 5 seconds but there is a significant difference between each measure and I am afraid if I put a longer time for example 30 seconds, It absorbs almost all the solvant.
Thank you for your replies
