Na minha opinião, toda ideia quando acabado seu ciclo de vida tem que ser inovada ou substituída por ideias mais otimizadas, dessa forma surgem novas oportunidades de mercado. A inovação quando descoberta, ou nova ideia, sempre tende a ter um desejo maior de exploração pelos meios científicos por ser algo novo, mas com um tempo, por ter seu nicho explorado, acaba diminuindo sua usabilidade.
