In particular, can you explain why a gene is more highly expressed in PCR without reverse transcriptase than in RT-PCR? I have performed a PCR with reverse transcription (RT-PCR) and a negative control (without reverse transcriptase) for TBP. However, my negative control shows a higher expression of another gene.
