Could glycogen storage around the z-disk/i-band cause problems for recovery/repair of myosin heads deeper in a sacromere?

It seems this create a diffusion, and might cause problems for deeper myosin heads in a myofibril. Especially as certain entities can not pass the thick myosin, but only around the thin elements and z-disk (or is this reviewed already?)

So storage of glycogen around z-disk, without using the glycogen in exercise could that lead to a negative effect?
