Hi, I want to ask if for you using expired BSA powder (expired in 2014 but always in the fridge and protected from light) could be a problem for my bovine primary follicles culture in situ (so inside the cortical tissue). I didn`t get grow of my follicles and today I noticed the BSA was expired, they told me is not a problem but I want to have other opinions. Thank you!

I've used expired BSA, always kept in good conditions, without problems!

I suspect it is fine, but the only way to know for certain is to buy new BSA and use it for comparison. Meanwhile, you certainly should keep looking for other possible causes for the failed growth.
