I am currently working to understand the genetic relatedness of T. vivax detected in naturally infected cattle in Nigeria using sequences analysis of diagnostic antigen gene and also to compare it to what is available in East Africa and South America. But I do not have T. vivax strain from the South America, hence I am asking if anyone could kindly help me with the DNA of or the T. vivax from the America. I will be grateful for your kind help.
I don't have samples for T. vivax or DNA of T. vivax but you can use National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ for search any sequencing you need.
Thank you Ayman, my major problem has been that the available sequences (whole genome or gene) of T. vivax in GenBank were from T. vivax Y486 isolate and its clone which was isolated from Nigeria. Hence, my major aim was to get an isolate of T. vivax from the South America, amplify and sequence the diagnostic antigene gene and compare it with those from Africa (West and East ) because the target region in this study for East African is available in GeneBank.
