Vg incorporation indicates a oocyte maturation because this substance is needed to develop future embryos. it is normally present in females but it can indicated a potential endocrine disruption when it is prsent in male plasma.

When its consider to use Vtg a biomarker indicator, Some biotechnology tools can applied. For example use as same concept with pregnancy test for human based on urine test. The same concept can applied, by develop a kit for Vtg detection. But first we need to develop monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. It will different between species such as between family or order because molecular weight also different.

When we talking about molecular level. We can use bioinformatic approach by study on gene expression from Vtg itself. Gene expression could be reflect by effects of different kind of feed. Such as different lipid content, such as DHA or AA level. From here we can developed idea how to improve maturation diet by relate the vtg peptide sequence. This i need some clarification whether this i idea its correct or not.... Can i get opinion from others!!!!
