I got bulk geochemistry result of kamanery syenite rock. In which, concentration of silica is very high range from 71% to 75 and concentration of K2O range from 2 to 4%. From which, bivariate diagram (Na2O+K2O vs. SiO2) shows most of the samples falls in sub-alkaline field but earlier studies confirms that the kamanery syenite was alkaline. From my result, I so confused.

Qusn : is there any possibility to increase sio2 content and decrease Na2O and K2O content?

if possible how to classify the rock type?
