Hello Guys,

I am trying to do a meta-analysis

some studies are mentioning odds ratio with confidence interval

while others are converting relative risk with confidence interval

So I am trying to convert the odds ratio and its confidence interval to RR and CI for the relative risk

I have used the medcalc to convert the OR to RR

So I enter the OR and the percentage of bad outcome in the non-exposed group and it get claculated

https://clincalc.com/Stats/ConvertOR.aspx

Howver, I am not very sure about how to convert the confidence interval. Shall I use the same method.?

So shall I enter the value of the lower confidence interval instead of the odds ratio, and then enter the percentage of bad outcome in the non-exposed group to get it calculated?

Or is this method wrong?

So how then can I use the confidence interval?
