Do you think that the most used building materials nowadays (steel, concrete and clay) will be considered very old materials after 1000 years?.
Nowadays, we consider houses of reeds, stone, logs and mud dating back to ancient times but in those times they were used to build castles, houses, houses of government and temples.
Present construction materials will be replaced soon by other for environmental friendly and economic materials.
That will reflect on new lifestyle and business model we will have in near future and we will see those changes very soon.
FRP composites occupy more interest gradually.Some type of these composites(CFRP) has strength more than 3 times as steel.But ,the high cost and difficulty of handling make the use of such materials ,mostly, in strengthening applications.

I think will be dependent on a multi-element mixture (alloys) and will be unprecedentedly resistant to natural conditions such as wind, rain, earthquake and so on
