The gels currently used in defibrillation are considered multigels, which can be used in both ultrasound and electrocardiography. I have had difficulty understanding whether this transition is from the market or whether there is any scientific evidence that supports the possibility of using the gel without salts for defibrillation without bringing risks to the patient, such as burns or increased thoracic impedance.
