Hi everyone,
Happy new year :)
I am trying to produce gamma-retroviral vectors with an MSCV-based plasmid and the helper plasmid pCL-Eco via the HEK293T cell line.
Since the produced viruses would be ecotropic, would I be able to concentrate the virus-containing supernatant of 293T cells through high-speed centrifugation?
I am asking the above question due to encountering data regarding the inability of ecotropic viruses to handle high-speed centrifugation due to instability. (https://www.cellbiolabs.com/faq/viral-expression-faq/retroviral-expression-packaging)
