Someone would have some reference of Clostridium spp primer for qPCR to indicate? I'm looking for one that has less than 500 bp. I already used the sequence: F 5′-AAAGGAAGATTAATACCGCATAA-3 ′ and R 5′-TGGACCGTGTCTCAGTTCC-3 ′ and melt didn’t work with various annealing temperatures. I found only another 722bp. Maybe they don't search much for Clostridium spp, I already searched all possible databases.
Hi. For real time PCR you should use amplicons around 250pb or less. Do you have an specific region to amplify? Here https://academic.oup.com/femsle/article/341/2/115/503039 are primers which amplify a 151bp product but for C. difficile
