Some Cell line has the traits called Chromosomal instability which would affect the number or structure of the chromosome, which in term affect gene expression.
If we performed CRISPR/Cas9 to generate homologous point mutation cell lines(which has CIN).
How would CIN affect the outcome of gene editing?

The cells with CIN have affected the diferent way to repare DNA, The CRISPR/Cas9 could introduce error in the DNA replication.....it is possible that the final results are affected ...

No, There is no report about chromosomal instability because it is specific target oriented gene editing by living bacterial system. Also there are other techniques for repairing the DNA.
