Hi everyone with NGS experience I am going to embark on a targeted sequencing project when I noticed the fame of KAPA kits has seemed to exceed other suppliers. would be great if you could share your experience with KAPA and NEB NGS library prep kits, which are my top two candidates.

it depends what is you upstream application and input amount. What are doing exactly? WGS? ChIP-seq?.....we have here a kit for very low input as 50pg.

We always had very good results from NEBNext kits, both for ChIP-seq and for strand-specific RNA-seq. I think we did a comparison early on between the NEB and KAPA and found them to be very similar.
But like Geoffrey says, it really will depend on your application, sample amount etc.
