How to detect changes for network geometry (road) after addition or deletion between the original and modified one in Arcgis? Are there any kind of models we can make for this or query, or is there another way to find changes? Please help me……
You have original road network map with you. so try to follow the steps
1. To detect changes first measure the length of the various categories in the original
road network map and measure the length of the categories in the modified road
network map. To measure the length use the query in the help menu (length of the
line)
2. If you want to show the changes in the way of map symbology then prepare
separate maps to indicate newly added road network as well removed network
from the map symbology. Finally integrate (or superimpose) both the map you get
integrated output.
Thank you dude it is big data it is hole County I need to indentify of those all,would you please tell me or give me some idea. according to your suggestion I tried to find but I did not got information of Query “Measure length of the line” in Arcmap help.
