CFD Analysis of Hydrodynamic Parameters for Regenerator of Cryocooler. I i am encountering the following problems, I would be very much thankful if anyone could assist me.
1- I have taken a time step of 10^-5 for 10000 time steps. Is this optimum?
2- Secondly, the initial guess of inertial and viscous coefficients are calculated from Zhang et al, 2007 (Cryogenics). I am confused a bit about adjusting these coefficients to match with experimental data. But one result takes few days to reach steady state. So it would be tedious to arrive at optimum coefficients iteratively.
3- Mass flow inlet and pressure outlet are put. But what should be the outlet pressure? It would be the experimental pressure drop?
4- How we would infer that steady state or solution has been achieved?
