How to enter Helium-4 fluid properties in the database of ANSYS (APDL) 14.5. I have tried the thing written in the ANSYS reference manual (http://www.ansys.stuba.sk/html/guide_55/g-cfd/GCFD8.htm).
The attached file has been modified in the database with the He-4 property coefficients. However, after modifying the .ans file, FLOTRAN says that specified fluid doesn't exist.
Although the FLOTRAN-CFD code is not used nowadays, the results are necessary for comparison.

you can define it whilie defining the material conditions. Just change the predefined fluid properties with the properties of Helium -4 fluid.
Sir, I have defined 2 materials. Material 1 is He-4 (material 1 defaults to fluid in FLOTRAN). Material 2 is solid. However in FLOTRAN set up the fluid needs to be specified..

Hello, I think you need to define your domain as fluidic and for that you neet to go to cell zone conditions. In the cell zone condition tab select the type as fluid, by doing so you can able to modify the properties of fluid and also you can delete the predefined air property if required.
Sir, here I am talking about FLOTRAN-CFD not FLUENT. Both are far apart from each other. FLOTRAN-CFD is based upon classical ANSYS and uses a FEM approach.
Moreover, there is no defining of different zones in FLOTRAN-CFD.
