As a new user of the CellTrace Violet (CTV) Proliferation Kit, I'm questioning if its really necessary to purchase a new kit for each isolated experiment, since the protocol says to "Use stock solutions of CellTrace™ reagents only on the day of preparation." (See attached protocol, page 3.)
Has anyone frozen down reconstituted CTV and used it for additional experiments, and if so, did it work similarly when mixed fresh?

Yes, you should be able to use the reconstituted CTV for additional experiments. You may aliquot the reconstituted CTV for one time use and freeze. One or two freeze-thaw cycles should not matter. I have not worked with CTV, but you may want to refer to the link below.
