The notion of cascading for heat pump systems have been well developed to address efficiency drop in cold climates. Do you think it (cascading) also would help to enhance COP of system even for not critical working conditions?

when we use the cascading systems, we contibute to reduce the temperature pinch between tne condenser and the evaporator. Seeing the mathematical formulation of the COP, we notice that the weak pinch of temperature plays favourly. From this constatation, the important cascade number is good but you need an economical evaluation to justify this choice. Good luck for you.
