I have just started carrying out isolations and I am achieving relatively high yield of myocytes, but there are still a lot of dead cells present within my isolation yield. I was wondering if there are any good methods to remove all of the dead cells? Even after spinning down the cells there are still a lot of dead cells present.

You will always have a certain percentage of dead myocytes but these should not be a lot. Have you checked the osmolarity and pH of your solutions? Are you sure you are using the right amount of collagenase/protease?
How is your extracellular Ca2+?
If the cell membranes are fragile, spinning down will only produce more dead cells. I would suggest directing your efforts to obtaining less dead cells rather than getting rid of them. All the best!
