We are looking for a provider for canine desmoglein-1 antibody that would be suitable for immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence applications. There are a few companies that have desmoglein-1 antibodies for ELISA, but has anybody had any luck with labeling desmogleins in canine tissue?

I found this antibody made from mouse and is suitable to use in canine tissue.
For more options I usually use biocompare.com where it lists all providers.
Apologies, it says for western blot applications, but usually they can be used for IF or IHC.

A couple of monoclonals against human and murine Dsg1 will most likely cross-react with the canine isoform. We regularly use 27B2, DG3.10, p23 and B11 for IF on frozen tissue and B11 also works well after formalin fixation, AK IHC will most likely work too.
The protein regions that are recognized by the above names MoAbs share 80 – 100% homology with the human or murine isoform.
In other words. You will most likely find good staining by one of the above names monoclonals.
