Most antibodies are routinely tested for use in Western blot, but not in immunofluorescence (IF) to cells or tissues. Some of them are "expected" to work in IF, especially polyclonals made to proteins or protein fragments rather than peptides, but have not been tried.

I need feedback on an antibody successfully used in IF, either made against DsRed or against a related protein (i.e. anti-RFP)
