I recently saw this article https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-018-04606-2 talking about how youtube videos can help improve science and help it get to more people.

But I was wondering if there can be a conflict of interests between the journals and youtube, as for example you upload a behavioral video to youtube and you use that youtube link in your journal publication.

Could it depend on the journal?, because I do not see many journals that support suplementary material as videos.
