you could prepare a 25 mM TMRE stock solution (e. g., dissolve 12.8 mg TMRE in 1 ml ethanol (p. a. quality)). I would recommend to store this stock at -80°C.

Hello Eva, I think there is not much difference whether you use absolute ethanol or DMSO for preparing the TMRE stock solution. Both solvents should work fine.

Jordan, I have used TMRE in the past and remember making 1mM stock in DMSO and stored at -20 degree C. Hope this helps!!!

I mM stock solution ; Storage temperature @-20 degrees ; Storage time - 4 to 5 months MAX. Aliquot them in such away that each aliquot can be used as one shot.

Both Ethanol and DMSO works for you, but I personally prefer DMSO.
