As the question says, I'm wondering if it is okay to bring in multimeter into a nitrogen glovebox. I had couple of people tell me that they heard that it is not a good practice and some people that told me they had done it before + it was fine.
Could someone clarify please?

I've worked with multimeters in N2 filled glove bags to measure pH and Eh, and it worked fine.

I have stored and worked with multimeters under N2 (and also Ar) gloveboxes, and did not have an issue (at least not so far). However, I can tell you that we kept a power adapter for another piece of electronic device inside an Ar glovebox and it was damaged. The vendor asked us to use a feed-through and keep the (new) power adapter outside.
