I appreciate the apprach the CDC took to rape, by framing it in terms of a cost/benefit analysis. They estimated the lifetime economic burden per victim is $122, 461.

Has anyone attempted similar estimates for terrorist attacks (per victim family membr or per victim, if they survived the attack)?

I understand there is too much variability by country, region, ideology, year to create a standardized estimate, but has anyone conducted an economic assessment after terrorist attacks that have occured?

I'm open to any materials out there that discuss that use this framework.
