Hi,

I am running an opensees model of a 2-bay 1-storey frame with settlement at the mid-support. I wanted to add an additional frame element as a bracing to the analyzed frame after it sustains damage from the settlement. Afterwards, I wanted to subject the model with the added braced frame to cyclic load.

Is there a way to add an element after running the initial settlement and then continue to cyclic loading?
