Most of the publications presented for preparation of an in vitro hypoxic/re-oxygenation cardiac model, need to change OGD medium with normal medium once we want to start re-oxygenation. I found a paper that they used stagnant culture media and continuously used the OGD medium for hypoxia and re-oxygenation. I attached the paper. I'm really grateful for your guidance.

Most of my experience involving hypoxia/ischaemia -reperfusion injury has involved in-vivo studies on orthopaedic patients.
However, with regards to yous in-vitro study, have you thought about rendering the cells temporarily hypoxic using nitrogen gas?
