DAB staining has been used for hydrogen peroxide detection in some tissues like leaves. I want to test it on the cells to see if it can find ROS activity. However, the protocols/papers are explaining tissues staining and I think the procedure is not viable for the cells. For instance, boiling in the water bath, etc which itself  might be fatal for the cell. What do you think? any suggestion would be grateful.
