Usually, we open the well at choke size 16/24'' for oil well and 8/24'' for gas well, then we test it at several choke beans untill we find the appropriate size for more production (flowrate) without causing damage into the reservoir.
Now we are looking for a way that can help to predict the suitable size based on the reservoir data.
Choke size is mainly a matter of production engineering than reservoir engineering. It would be best if you primarily looked at the condition of the well to optimize the operational wellhead pressures and choke sizes. You can find related information in the following textbook:

Thanks for your reply, however, how we can control wellhead pressure...we can only optimise and control downstream pressure and separation pressure..
You can control wellhead pressure using the choke or control valve by creating back-pressure. Downstream pressure is determined by the pipeline and process facility restrictions. If the choke is in the region of critical flow, the flow will be independent of downstream pressure. However, the upstream pressure (wellhead pressure) is determined by the choke opening and its corresponding flow rate.
For exploration wells, we are not concerned about finding the optimum choke size. The most important thing is to estimate the well productivity by changing the choke size. Usually, well clean-up happens at the maximum flow rate.
By the way, I think you should stay focused on the well features, such as bottom-hole pressure, tubing diameter, TD, etc.
