We are currently working in a microgrid project, where we have 6.5 MW solar power plant and 5.5 MW electrolyser load. There will be BESS connected to the solar, to provide night time auxillary support to the electrolyser loads. The load is around 30 kW which will be running for continuous 12 hrs, the BESS requirement for night time consumption is 360 kWh, though the installed capacity will be around 450 kWh (Considering Roundtrip losses). The Bidirectional PCS will be used for reference voltage & frequency generation at night time during discharging of energy. Now the issue we have is there is no generic model of Allkaline electrolyser & BESS model in Digsilent Power Factory. We require a generic model for transient analysis during multiple contingency.
There are consultants who work in the modeling power plants and storage plants in DIGSILENT; You need to perhaps contact them.
