I understand that ED-XRF or WD-XRF only allows for high energy photon emission. I am wondering if it is possible to obtain emission in the visible region by attaching an external optical fiber to a spectrophotometer (Ocean Optics)? However, I am skeptical about this since the chambers used for XRF are typically sealed. Do you have any other suggestions?

just make use of optical spectrometers.
XRF (ED) detectors and spectrometers are designed and optimized for x-rays, but not for the optical regime...
But your idea to use x-ray excited optical fluorescence for analysis of materials is not new, but has been for many years.
Please google for 'x-ray excited optical fluorescence' or similar buzz words and you will find a lot of results, such as for example:

. Just to summarize-(a) I need to have a clinical x-ray source and need to focus this on the sample kept inside an integrated sphere.
(b) a spectrometer will be connected with an optical fibre to get the desired spectra.
It is better to cover the set up under Pb chamber.

Just some remarks:
i) there are only very rare occasions and expensive set ups, which allow you to 'focus ' x-rays onto a sample;
ii) an integrating sphere is a very lossy system when combined with a fiber output; you should try to image the optical output from the sample via a lense onto the inputport of the fiber; please use short distances,
iii) ... " it is 'better' to cover the set up under Pb chamber"...; it is not your choice: it is your duty to obey the x-ray safety regulations, thus it is a must to deal with some kind of x-ray shielded room, cabinet or chamber. For details and the legal procedures please get in touch with the x-ray safety officer of your institution at a very early stage*) of your x-ray experiments...
*) preferably even at the very beginning (planning) of the x-ray experiments
