Why would you try the same primer sets in unrelated organisms?  RAPD primers are usually used to quickly type different strains of the same species.

Hi, I prefer to use a primer from a previous study, since some rapid primer is either for specific identification and other for differences. Although you'll usually get a bans but they 'll not be in the position where for detect the similarity among your species
