Hi all,
I want to control active current to be injected into the grid ..let it be any particular value,I need some calculations to do the same .. what I need is for doing this what should be the phase angle of grid voltage with respect to inverter output voltage . Please give me enough calculation by which i can understand better .

Dear Janardhan, to better understand your requirement, I believe you have a UPS/Inverter system to cater the load for which you need to size up the rating of the UPS. If so then the idea is that a charger is designed to a capacity which will be sufficient to fully recharge (during boost operation) the selected battery and to simultaneously supply the continuous standing load. Therefore Required Charger Rating =Charging current for the proposed battery bank + Total Standing (Continuous) load. Maximum Boost Charging Current of the battery bank is 0.2 times the battery bank capacity in Ah. Regarding the phase angle, it should be in phase with the incoming AC supply. Most commercial chargers/UPS will have option for a cutoff in case of deviation in phase angle. Hope this clarifies.
